  • CDS Musa noted that Governor Uba Sani is taking laudable steps that shows his commitment towards having a peaceful and thriving Kaduna state

The Chief of Defense Staff, CDS, Gen. Christopher G. Musa, says the Nigerian Armed Forces will continue to work relentlessly towards achieving lasting peace in the country.

He made the pledge during the flag-off of the distribution of 150 vehicles and 500 motorcycles procured by the Kaduna State Government to address security challenges in the state.

He hailed the State government for being supportive of those saddled with the responsibility of securing lives and properties in the State.

The CDS stated that the vehicles, motorcycles and other peace efforts by the current administration in Kaduna State would greatly help security operatives in their work.

CDS Musa noted that Governor Uba Sani is taking laudable steps that shows his commitment towards having a peaceful and thriving Kaduna state.

He added, “This is more so because security is everything and without security, there cannot be peace, and if there is no peace there cannot be development.”

According to him, what he (the governor) had demonstrated was that he was not talking about peaceful Kaduna but he was also working practically to keep the state in peace.

He explained that the over 500 motorcycles and 150 vehicles in addition to other things he had been doing were a plus to the security of the State and Nigeria as a whole and appealed for the other state governments to continue to do the same.

“We must support the federal government and armed forces so that we can continue to do our job.

“We therefore promise to work extremely hard until there is total peace in Nigeria,” he assured
