Kaduna Spends N4 Billion Annually on School Feeding

Dr. Fauziya Buhari Ado, the special assistant to the Kaduna State governor on school feeding, revealed that the state government spends N4 billion annually on the school feeding program.

In a statement on Sunday, Dr. Fauziya mentioned that the program benefits over 25,000 students in 51 boarding schools across the state’s 23 local government areas.

She highlighted that the initiative has significantly increased school enrollment and has also benefitted local farmers, as the program’s produce is sourced from them.

Dr. Fauziya assured that the state government would continue to ensure adherence to the prescribed guidelines, maintaining high standards of food quality, quantity, hygiene, and timely service delivery.
