  • This outcome marks a significant triumph for the ruling party, solidifying its grip on Adamawa State’s political landscape.
  • The PDP’s clean sweep is a testament to the party’s popularity and organizational strength in the state, as it continues to maintain its hold on power.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has achieved a resounding victory in Adamawa State, winning all 21 local government chairmanship seats in the election held on Saturday, July 13.

The Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSIEC) announced the results on Sunday, confirming the PDP’s sweep of all LGAs.

The opposition’s withdrawal, citing lack of faith in ADSIEC’s ability to conduct a fair election, paved the way for the PDP’s unchallenged victory.

This outcome solidifies the PDP’s dominance in Adamawa State’s political landscape.
