  • Appreciate outgoing officers for services rendered to the state during their stewardship

Kebbi state governor Dr Nasir Idris, on Tuesday dissolved the 21 local council sole administrators in the state with immediate effect.

In a letter from the ministry for local governments and chieftaincy affairs duly signed by the acting permanent secretary of the ministry, Bldr Aliyu Hassan Kalgo ordered the sole administrators to hand over to the Directors of personnel management in their respective local governments and surrender vehicles and all properties belonging to the local councils.

The dissolution letter reads in part ” I am directed to convey to you that, the governor of Kebbi state, Dr Nasir Idris has directed the dissolution of all the 21 local governments sole administrators in Kebbi with immediate effect”.

He further thanked them for services rendered to the state during their stewardship. Recall that, the state independent electoral commission (KSIEC) has slated August,2024, for local councils elections in the state.
