While commending their Colleagues for their support to the leadership, the Deputy Speaker urged them to spend time with their constituents, adding that they may reconvene if there’s a need for an emergency session during the annual recess.

Hon. Kalu said: “I would like to thank you on behalf of the Speaker of the Parliament on how you’ve given great support to the leadership of this house, in ensuring that we have unity, harmony and one purpose.

“We appreciate all your support and we don’t take it likely. Enjoy your holidays and spend time with your constituents. If there’s a need to recall you for an emergency please be well disposed to that.”
