  • The opposition party emphasized that the nationwide protests by Nigerians would not have occurred if the APC government had shown sincerity

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led federal government to immediately review all its policies that are causing hardship in the country.

The PDP claims that Nigeria has been plunged into a humanitarian crisis due to these policies and has urged President Tinubu to address the nation with a plan for moving forward.

The opposition party emphasized that the nationwide protests by Nigerians would not have occurred if the APC government had shown sincerity and commitment to resolving the economic difficulties resulting from its poorly implemented policies.

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, pointed out that the PDP had offered advice on the state of the economy multiple times, but these recommendations were ignored, leading to the current situation.
