The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has issued a stern warning to individuals and groups plotting to overthrow the government or engage in any form of unconstitutional regime change.

During a joint press conference with top security officials and military leaders, Musa emphasized that the military and security agencies are actively working to identify and hold accountable those responsible for instigating unrest and violence.

Musa expressed appreciation for the understanding and cooperation of Nigerians in upholding law and order, and assured them that the military is committed to protecting the country and its citizens.

He emphasized that the military’s focus is on those who seek to subvert the nation, not innocent citizens.
