  • Dan Bello criticized President Tinubu’s policies for widespread hunger and suffering, challenging the government to take legal action against him
  • The skitmaker emphasized his content reflects harsh realities faced by Nigerians due to government decisions, inviting a lawsuit to validate his message

Bello Galadanchi, a skit maker known as Dan Bello, has voiced strong criticism against President Bola Tinubu’s economic policies. He states that these policies are causing widespread hunger and suffering among Nigerians. During an interview on Tuesday on Trust TV’s Daily Politics, Dan Bello expressed his concerns, challenging the government to take legal action against him if it disagrees with his views.

He made it clear that he is not affiliated with any political party and that any political agenda do not influence his work. Instead, he emphasized that his content reflects the harsh realities ordinary Nigerians face due to the current administration’s decisions.

“If what I am doing is not good for them, then it must be good for the people,” Bello said, highlighting the disconnect between the government’s actions and the population’s well-being. He accused the ruling party of implementing policies that have led to severe hardship, with some people eating grass and drinking contaminated water just to survive. According to Bello, these hardships are not the result of natural disasters but are directly linked to avoidable policy decisions made by the government.

He further criticized the government for allegedly ignoring the people’s suffering while focusing on accumulating wealth and initiating what he described as “bogus projects.” Bello made it clear that he wants those in power to feel uncomfortable with his work, as it brings attention to the plight of ordinary Nigerians. He even invited the government to sue him, indicating that such actions would only validate the impact of his message.
