  • Mrs. Tinubu stressed that the key to overcoming Africa’s challenges lies within the continent itself

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, emphasized the need for Africa to focus on homegrown solutions and prioritize youth education to harness its natural resources and achieve sustainable development.

She made these remarks on Friday while receiving the Burundian Ambassador to Nigeria, Edouard Nduwimana, at the State House in Abuja.

Mrs. Tinubu stressed that the key to overcoming Africa’s challenges lies within the continent itself, calling for stronger unity among African nations. She urged leaders to empower and engage youth in development efforts, noting that the time for taking Africa’s resources for granted is over.

“Education is the tool for development, and I believe the youth should be ready to take their rightful place in the marketplace. If we lead by example, we can win over our youth and build the next century together,” she said.
