Ticket Sales Begin for Super Eagles' AFCON Qualifier Against Benin Republic

  • Tickets for the Super Eagles vs. Cheetahs match go on sale Friday, with VIP tickets priced at N3,000 and regular tickets at N1,000
  • The match will take place at Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, kicking off at 5 PM on Saturday

Tickets for Saturday’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Cheetahs of Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo will go on sale on Friday.

VIP tickets will cost N3,000 each, while fans opting for the regular stands will pay N1,000 each.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Marketing and Sponsorship department has designated several ticket sale points, including Uyo Township Stadium; Government Primary School, Obio Etoi; Memories FM on Ernest Bassey Street; Comfort FM in Ikot Akpanabia; Inspiration FM on Udo Udoma; and De-Choice Shopping Plaza. Additional sale points will be announced by Thursday.

The match, the first in the 2025 AFCON finals qualifiers, will kick off at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

The Super Eagles will seek revenge against the Benin Republic’s Cheetahs, who defeated them in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying round in Abidjan. In their 17 previous encounters, Nigeria has won 13 times, lost twice, and drawn twice against Benin Republic.

The Cheetahs first defeated the Super Eagles in 2017 with a 1-0 win and secured their second victory during the most recent international break.
