Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has restated his administration’s dedication to prioritizing vital projects.

Lawal made this commitment during the commissioning of the revamped general hospital in Maru Local Government Area, as stated by his spokesperson, Sulaiman Idris, in a statement released on Sunday.

The statement highlighted that Lawal’s administration is actively upgrading and equipping all general hospitals across the state.

While inspecting the hospital’s infrastructure and advanced medical equipment, Governor Lawal stated that his goal is to create a cutting-edge healthcare environment that meets the needs of the people.

He said, “The renovation works carried out in this hospital include upgrading the facilities to ensure that the people of Maru and its environs have access to decent healthcare.”

“The renovation has transformed the physical structure, integrating modern medical technologies and systems.”

“This comprehensive approach ensures that the General Hospital Maru is well-equipped to handle various medical conditions, from routine check-ups to complex surgeries.”

“The staff in this hospital are now better equipped to deliver care services that meet the highest standards.”

“Our mission is to provide a state-of-the-art healthcare environment that caters to the needs of our people by ensuring that quality medical services are accessible and affordable to all.”

“Beyond the renovation, this project includes providing 39-kilowatt solar power to ensure a reliable power supply, crucial for medical equipment operation and patient comfort.”

“Additionally, 35 streetlights have been installed around the hospital premises and surroundings to enhance security and visibility, making the hospital environment safer.”
