  • The Board aims to complete the recruitment by September 2024, with 2,500 new personnel expected to join the FFS

The Civil Defence Correctional Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the start of the next phase of its 2023/2024 recruitment process for the Federal Fire Service (FFS), which will begin on September 15, 2024.

In a statement released by the Board’s Secretary, Ja’afaru Ahmed, it was disclosed that shortlisted candidates will receive invitation letters via the phone numbers and email addresses they provided during the registration process. These letters will contain details on where candidates are expected to appear for physical screening, certificate verification, and an aptitude test.

The CDCFIB emphasized that the entire recruitment process is free and does not require any payment.

The Board has committed to completing the recruitment by the end of September 2024, and 2,500 new personnel are expected to join the Federal Fire Service upon the completion of the process.
