  • Buba Galadima criticized President Tinubu’s appointees for prioritizing personal gain over national service, expressing disappointment in the administration’s leadership
  • Galadima accused the federal government of creating obstacles for Kano State, alleging interference in local matters and undermining local elections

Buba Galadima, a prominent figure in the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has criticized some of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s appointees, accusing them of prioritizing personal gain over national service.

During an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today, Galadima expressed his disappointment with President Tinubu, stating that he expected the president to bring in a team of experts to tackle the country’s pressing issues.

Galadima noted that Tinubu’s leadership has been inconsistent, with positive and negative actions.

He added, “I expected him to hit the ground running because we thought he was coming with a team that understood the country’s complexities. But some of his appointees seem more interested in filling their pockets than delivering results.”

Galadima further claimed that the federal government has been creating obstacles for the Kano State government, alleging a lack of cooperation and interference in local matters.

He accused the government of attempting to disrupt local government elections in Kano.

Galadima said, “Only God is protecting Kano from disaster, as the federal government seems to be undermining our efforts.”
