  • SSASCGOC’s State and Zonal Coordinators have been directed to ensure compliance with the industrial action

The Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporations and Government-Owned Companies (SSASCGOC), representing employees of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), has begun an indefinite strike over unresolved promotion and welfare concerns.

The decision follows failed meetings between SSASCGOC and NAFDAC management.

The union claims key issues, including a review of the 2024 promotion exam results and payment of pending salary arrears, remain unaddressed.

“All staff are advised to withdraw their services and remove personal belongings from their offices during the strike period,” warned Dr Ejor Michael, Secretary of the Trade Union Congress (TUC).
