  • The Asiwaju of Osogboland, Ajadi Badmus, has reportedly passed away on Sunday morning at the age of 83.
  • Alhaji Badmus was from the Adekilekun dynasty in the Isale-Osun area of Osogbo and was known for his leadership and contributions to the region.
  • He was the elder brother of Alhaji Khamis Olatunde Badmus, a prominent businessman and Chairman of TUNS FARM.

The Asiwaju of Osogboland, Ajadi Badmus has reportedly passed away early Sunday at the age of 83, leaving the Osogbo community in deep mourning.

Family sources, who spoke to Daily Post on the condition of anonymity, confirmed the tragic news.

Alhaji Ajadi Badmus, a respected leader in Osogbo, hailed from the Adekilekun dynasty in the Isale-Osun area of Osogbo, the capital of Osun State.

He was the elder brother of Alhaji Khamis Olatunde Badmus, the Chairman of TUNS FARM, and also held the esteemed title of Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland.

Details about the circumstances of his death and his burial arrangements have not yet been disclosed by the family.

Alhaji Badmus took on the role of Asiwaju of Osogboland in 2022, following the passing of his predecessor, Pa Ahmed Omidiran, a notable business tycoon who died at 95.

In other news, A yet to be unidentified driver of a mini commercial bus “Korope” has lost his life after he collapsed behind the wheels in Osun state.

He died in an accident that occurred on the Olaiya overhead bridge in Osogbo, the state capital, on Wednesday.

The accident happened after the driver lost consciousness and subsequently lost control of the vehicle leading to his death, one Funmi Adeyemo, who witnessed the incident, told NAN.

She said that the bus veered off the road and collided with a vehicle stationed on the roadside, resulting in the death of the driver…
