The Kano State Government has announced plans to begin the renovation and restoration of the Digital Industrial Park which suffered extensive damage and looting during the nationwide #EndBadGovernance protest on August 1, 2024.

The State Deputy Governor, Aminu Gwarzo, made the disclosure on Monday during the visit of the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijjani.

Gwarzo condemned the vandalism, calling it a setback to the state’s digital development and to Nigeria’s broader technological aspirations.

He extended the government’s sympathies to the Ministry, assuring that measures were being taken to renovate the place.
