  • Cause of latest collapse still sketchy

The national grid collapsed again on Saturday.

This is the third time this will happen in just one week.

Recall that the grid tripped off on Monday and on Tuesday when it was being restored.

Allocation to power distribution companies stood at 0.00MW at the time of filing this report.

Also, according to data obtained from the Nigerian System Operator’s portal (niggrid.org) the grid recorded zero megawatts (MW) as of 9.20am today.

The cause of the collapse could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
