Nigeria’s national grid on Thursday collapsed again, plunging the nation in total blackout.

WITHIN NIGERIA reports that the bulk power supply was disrupted around 11:20am on Thursday, 7th of November, 2024.

This was confirmed on X by Nigeria National Grid via @NationalGridNg

It tweeted: “BREAKING: Another Grid Setback Experienced.”

This is the second time the grid has collapsed this week and the twelveth time in the last eleven months.

Meanwhile, the Transmission Company of Nigeria has not issued an official statement on the reason the grid collapsed again on Thursday.
