2024 recruitment: NNPCL shortlists candidates

...unsuccessful applicants receive ‘sorry’ messages

  • Notified successful applicants of CBT exercise

The management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) has commenced shortlisting candidates for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) aptitude stage, following the 2024 recruitment exercise for Graduate Trainees and Experienced roles.

Some successful applicants on X have confirmed receiving the shortlisting emails, which are being gradually sent to successful candidates.

The message reads: “We are pleased to inform you that you have been shortlisted to proceed to the next stage of our recruitment process — the Computer-Based Test (CBT), scheduled to take place on Saturday, 7th December 2024.

“Details regarding the CBT, including the test time, venue in your preferred (or nearby) state, and additional instructions, will be communicated to you shortly. Please ensure you regularly check your email for updates.

“NNPC Limited reserves the right to discontinue your application if, at any stage of the process, you fail to meet the required standard.”

The Organisation further reiterate its commitment to a fair and merit-based selection process, ensuring equal opportunities for all candidates.

“We value diversity and inclusivity, assessing each applicant solely on their qualifications, skills, and suitability for the role.

“You can be assured that every candidate will be treated with respect and fairness throughout the recruitment process.

“We wish you the best of luck in the next stage,” it concluded.

Similarly, the oil company also forwarded regret emails to applicants who did not qualify for the next stage of the 2024 recruitment exercise.

The regret message reads: “Thank you for your interest in building a career with NNPC Limited. We appreciate your time and effort in the application process.

“ After a careful review of your application, we regret to inform you that you did not meet the minimum requirements to progress to the next stage of the recruitment process due to one (1) or more of the following reasons:
Age
Class of Degree / Academic Requirements
NYSC requirement
Due Diligence Requirements
Once more, thank you for your interest. “We encourage you to stay connected with us through our media channels, where we share updates about future career opportunities.

“Wishing you the best in your career journey,” it concluded.
