  • At a graduation ceremony, Tinubu emphasized the government’s commitment to addressing economic difficulties and ensuring security across the nation

President Bola Tinubu has expressed optimism about Nigeria’s progress despite public criticism of his administration.

Speaking on Saturday at the graduation ceremony for the Executive Intelligence Management Course 17 at the National Institute for Security Studies in Abuja, Tinubu, represented by the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, acknowledged the challenges facing the nation but assured that positive changes are underway.

“Things are happening in our country today. People may not like us. They probably will disagree with one or two things. But fundamentally, things are changing. And Nigeria will change,” he said.

Tinubu highlighted the government’s efforts to address the country’s economic difficulties and security concerns. “The economy is changing. Very tough, very difficult, very huge challenges we are facing. But I can assure you, better days are ahead of us,” he added.

The President reiterated his administration’s commitment to ensuring national security and stability. He warned individuals involved in criminal activities within and outside Nigeria of strict consequences.

“If you are a bad man, whether inside Nigeria or outside, you are in trouble. We will go after you. We will bring you to justice,” he declared.

Tinubu’s remarks underscored his administration’s resolve to tackle the country’s pressing issues and build a more secure and prosperous future for all Nigerians.
