A bomb explosion in Nigeria’s northeast state of Borno on Wednesday afternoon killed two persons.
The explosion happened after an Improvised Explosive Device, IED, went off in a 200 housing estate under construction.
The State Governor, Babagana Zulum and his Yobe counterpart, Mai Mala Buni, were said to be commissioning housing estates in Maiduguri, the Borno State Capital, when the incident happened.
According to Channels Television, a similar incident occurred on Tuesday but details of it are sketchy.
Dalwa is 175 kilometres from Maiduguri and is one of the many communities ravaged by the atrocities and violence of Boko Haram with many of its inhabitants displaced.
