Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has appointed his Commissioner for Budget, Economic Planning and Multilateral Coordination, Aminu Hammayo as the new Secretary to the State Government following resignation of Kashim Ibrahim.
The Governor also appointed Alhaji Hashimu Yakubu Kumbala as the new Principal Private Secretary (PPS) to the Governor to replace Pharm Samaila Adamu Burga who was elected as the State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
In a press statement issued on Friday, 27th of December 2024, signed by the special adviser on Media, the governor said the appointments reflect the commitment of his administration for effective and non-inclusive governance
The statement said that the new appointees would be sworn in later today, the statement concluded.
