The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will hold in January, though the exact date is yet to be disclosed.

JAMB, in its weekly bulletin, assured candidates of a seamless registration and examination process, emphasizing that insights from the 2024 UTME have been used to enhance preparations.

“To achieve this, the Board has implemented comprehensive measures aimed at providing candidates and stakeholders with an unparalleled registration and examination experience,” JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, stated.

Key improvements include the generation of adequate examination items, accreditation of centres, and streamlined registration processes. Candidates are encouraged to create their profiles early by sending their NIN details via SMS to 55019.

The Board also issued a warning against using henna designs on fingers, which could hinder biometric verification required for registration and exam hall entry. It advised candidates to protect their fingers to avoid delays.

JAMB aims to deliver a UTME experience “like never before,” aligned with its commitment to excellence under the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
