One Fatima Dzuma has allegedly killed her husband one Baba Aliyu in Niger State.
The 27-year-old suspect was said to have murdered his 25-year-old significant other in Katcha Local Government Area of the state.
Niger State Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Wasiu Abiodun, disclosed that the suspect has since been arrested.
Abiodun said that the couple had a misunderstanding and, during the ensuing altercation, the wife hit the husband with a pestle in the head, resulting in his death.
According to him, one Aminu Amale, 45, was arrested for allegedly demanding N9.5 million from a farmer in Mariga Local Government Area.
He added that three suspected armed robbers, Jibrin Ndako, 19, Haruna Abubakar, 20, and Aliyu Abdullahi, 18, were arrested in Minna for planning to burgle a provision store. Three cutlasses and an industrial iron cutter were found with them.
He also stated that Abubakar Sadiq was arrested for allegedly killing a motorcyclist, Abdulrahman Isah, 20, and stealing his motorcycle.
The suspects were arrested between December 24, 2024, and January 4.
