Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term ahead of the 2027 general election.

The group, in a statement by its Deputy President General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, urged Tinubu to facilitate the release of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu by 2025, describing it as crucial for peace and security in the Southeast.

The statement also called for accelerated rehabilitation of federal roads in the region under Works Minister Senator David Umahi, urging completion by 2026.

Ohanaeze advocated for the revival of key economic projects, including the Calabar Seaport, Enugu Coal Mine, and the Akwete Blue River Deep Seaport, alongside improved rail and road connectivity.
