Police arrest three suspects for brutal flogging of female employee in Lagos

The Lagos police command has taken three individuals into custody in connection with the brutal caning of a female employee.

A disturbing video surfaced on social media, showing the woman being mercilessly beaten with canes by three men at a boutique.

The incident allegedly occurred at Don Maserati Classic Boutique, located on Lagos Island, although details are still emerging.

In response to the footage, police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin stated that efforts were ongoing to apprehend additional suspects and locate the victim.

“Three suspects have been arrested, while efforts are on to apprehend other suspects and establish contact with the victim,” Hundeyin wrote on X.

“The Commissioner of Police, CP Olanrewaju Ishola, assures Lagosians that justice will be served.”
