  • The hike in price comes following the recent increase in crude oil prices, with Nigeria’s Bonny Light going up to $80 per barrel this week from $73 per barrel last week.

Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) better known as Petrol, prices may soar as depot owners hike rates by 4.74 percent, sparking concerns among consumers.

The increase is linked to the recent surge in global crude oil prices, with Nigeria’s Bonny Light rising to $80 per barrel.

Some depots, including Swift Depot, have adjusted their loading prices to N950 per litre, up from N907 per litre, according to Vanguard.

Wosbab depot also raised its price to N950 per litre, while Sahara Depot increased its rate to N950 per litre.
