The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has temporarily waived access gate fees at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

In a statement released on Saturday, FAAN’s spokesperson, Dr. Obiageli Orah, explained that this move aims to reduce traffic congestion on airport roads.

The waiver will be in effect from January 24 to February 7, 2025.

The statement reads, “The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria wishes to inform the general public that all access gates at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International International Airport, Abuja, are suspended to alleviate the traffic burden on our airport road users.”
