  • Oil marketers in Nigeria have started loading petroleum products from the Port Harcourt and Warri refineries, confirming their operational status
  • This development is expected to improve fuel distribution across the country, addressing ongoing supply challenges faced by consumers

Oil marketers in Nigeria have started loading petroleum products from the Port Harcourt and Warri refineries, according to the Petroleum Products Retail Outlet Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN).

Joseph Obele, PETROAN’s spokesman, confirmed this in a statement on Saturday. He noted that the development clears doubts about the operational status of these Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) refineries.

“PETROAN members are now loading petroleum products, including Dual-Purpose Kerosene, Automotive Gas Oil, and Premium Motor Spirits,” Obele stated.

This move is expected to improve fuel distribution and ease supply challenges nationwide.
