Guardiola to sell eight Man City players this summer — including De Bruyne, Silva, Grealish

Eight senior players at Manchester City will be drawing the curtain on their career at the club this summer.

The players pencilled for sale wre Jack Grealish, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, John Stones, Mateo Kovacic, Ilkay Gundogan and Ederson.

The club’s manager, Pep Guardiola, will also get rid of Kyle Walkerahead of next season, The Sun Reports.

Walker, who is currently on loan at AC Milan, will depart on a permanent basis.

Guardiola wants to inject fresh blodd into his squad after a poor defence of their Premier League title and early elimination from the Champions League.

Since Guardiola arrived at the Etihad in 2016, City have been the dominant force in English football. But the crop of players that has achieved unprecedented success looks set to be on their way out.

All of the players listed to be sold are aged 30 or older bar Grealish, who reaches that age in September.

City have already looked to address the issue by bringing in four players aged 26 or less in January, but it appears they believe there is much more work to do
