The Nigeria Police Force has commenced the medical screening exercise for selected candidates in the ongoing 2022 Police Constable Recruitment process.

The screening, which began on February 26, 2025, will run until March 12, 2025, across 17 designated Police Zonal Headquarters nationwide.

According to a Thursday statement issued by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, on February 27, 2025, the medical screening is already in progress.

He confirmed: “The medical screening exercise for invited candidates in the ongoing 2022 Recruitment of Police Constable has since commenced.

“The exercise, scheduled for Feb 26-Mar 12, 2025, is currently taking place at designated centres in the 17 Police Zonal Headquarters.”

This phase follows the Computer-Based Test (CBT) held on March 5–6, 2024, after which the first batch of successful candidates was invited for training.

The NPF is now urging all other candidates who participated in the CBT to check their application status via the official recruitment portal: apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng and print their invitation slips.

Adejobi further advised: “Other candidates who participated in the CBT are hereby advised to log on to the recruitment portal apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng to check their application status and print invitation slip.”

The Nigeria Police Force reassures applicants of a “transparent and merit-based recruitment process, “emphasizing that only those who meet the required criteria will proceed to the next phase of training.

Candidates are advised to comply with all screening requirements and attend their sessions promptly.
