  • Tinubu administration completes Gwagwalada road, calling it a step towards restoring public trust and building meaningful infrastructure.
  • Shettima says every community will feel the impact of government, no matter how distant or previously neglected.

President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that his government is focused on delivering real development and rebuilding public trust.

Vice president Kashim Shettima gave this assurance on behalf of the president at the official opening of the rehabilitated Aguma Palace–Radio Nigeria–New Market Road in Gwagwalada Area Council, Abuja.

Shettima said the Tinubu administration is moving away from the past, where promises were made without follow-through.

He stated that the road project was not just a physical development but a signal that every community matters under the current government.

According to him, no part of the country is too remote to benefit from government attention, and no citizen’s struggle will be ignored.

The vice president described the completion of the road as a sign that promises are now being matched with tangible results.

He said the road represents safety for children, progress for traders, and dignity for women in the market.

Shettima made it clear that the federal government is focused not just on building roads, but on restoring Nigerians’ belief in governance.

He stressed that the Gwagwalada project was a response to the demands of the people, not a directive handed down from above.

The move, he added, is in line with the administration’s push for grassroots participation and inclusive governance.
