  • Buhari’s corpse was conveyed from London aboard a Nigerian government aircraft on Tuesday morning.
  • The Katsina State Government has deployed security around Daura ahead of the interment.

The body of former president, Muhammadu Buhari, has left London, United Kingdom, for Katsina State ahead of burial rites.

He is expected to be buried later today in Daura, his hometown in Katsina State.

A video broadcast by Channels Television on Tuesday showed Buhari’s remains being flown out aboard the Nigerian presidential jet.
