  • The party called on the president to stop listening to sycophantic governors and aides who are not telling him the truth about the state of the nation

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, says President Bola Tinubu is too detached from the reality of Nigerians and does not seem to have a genuine sense of what is truly going on in the country

The party called on the president to stop listening to sycophantic governors and aides who are not telling him the truth about the nation’s state.

The Interim National Publicity Secretary of the party, Bolaji Abdullahi, made this known while speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday.

Bolaji, who berated Tinubu over the widespread hardship in Nigeria, said the president needs to
Leave the presidential Villa and hit the streets to hear and feel the pains of Nigerians.

The former minister of sport noted that state governors and his media aides are lying to Tinubu about the plight and sufferings of Nigerians to ingratiate themselves with him.

He said: “I feel sorry for Tinubu. President Tinubu needs to leave the Aso Villa, go to the streets and talk to the people, and stop listening to governors who say what they need to say just to endear themselves to power rather than tell them the true feelings of the people.”
