Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has provided more insight into his permanent transfer to Galatasaray and what motivated him to push through with the deal.

Osimhen arrived in Istanbul on Wednesday night and was welcomed by a mammoth crowd of Galatasaray fans at Atatürk Airport.
Speaking to GSTV, Osimhen said he did everything in his power to make sure the move materialised
because of the deep connection he has with the club, the city and the people.
He expressed delight to be at the club and promised to do his best for the club and its fans.
“I have a deep connection with this club, this city, these people. That’s why I fought so hard to return here,” Osimhen said.
“I continue to have that feeling, to continue playing with a purpose.
“I want to do what’s best for myself and the fans, and I’m really happy to be here,” he said
