The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the timetable for its 2025 party congresses in 13 states.
The timetable was shared by the national organising secretary, Umar Bature, in a statement posted on X on Friday.
Bature said the election of new party executives at ward, local government, and state levels would commence in September.
The affected states are Adamawa, Borno, Edo, Kebbi, Kwara, Ondo, Oyo, Kogi, Lagos, Niger, Plateau, and Cross River.
According to the timetable, the process will begin with membership registration for new and existing members from Friday, August 1 to Saturday, August 30.
“The sale of nomination and ad-hoc forms will commence on Monday, August 18, and close on Friday, August 29,” the post read.
“This is to enable all intending aspirants the opportunity to purchase nomination forms. Submission of forms by aspirants will close on Friday, September 5.”
The party fixed ward congresses to elect ward executives and three ad-hoc delegates for Saturday, September 13.
Appeals arising from the ward congresses will be handled on Wednesday, September 17.
The local government congresses to elect LGA executives and national delegates will hold on Saturday, September 20.
Appeals from the LGA congresses will be considered on Wednesday, September 24.
The state congresses, which will produce new state executives, are scheduled for Saturday, September 27.
Appeals relating to the state congresses will be taken on Wednesday, September 30.
