Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has admonished Nigerians not to vote for the All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2027 as the party is “incompetent and clannish”.
Speaking while mobilizing youths to support the opposition coalition in Sokoto State on Saturday, he said APC is a risk to Nigeria’s unity, hence should not be allowed to remain in power in 2027.
El-Rufai also disclosed that he ventured into politics to serve people and not to enrich himself.
He stated it is imperative for him to not only speak about the troubling state of the nation but also make moves to address the situation.
He said: “I didn’t get into politics to enrich myself but to serve. And when a government ceases to serve the people, it is my duty as a senior citizen to not only speak out but take action to reverse the situation.”
The opposition coalition had adopted the African Democratic Congress as it moves to ensure the APC doesn’t return to power in 2027
