Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has officially announced his intention to seek re-election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Oyebanji announced his second term bid on Monday during a meeting with members of the State Working Committee of the APC held at the party secretariat in Ado-Ekiti.

The governor, who said he has fulfilled all his campaign promises to the people of Ekiti, underscored the need to build on the gains of his administration.

He thanked party leadership for the trust and confidence in his administration, adding that his administration would continue to give party leadership the respect and recognition they deserve as elder statesmen and foundational pillars of the party.
