Labour Party Senator, Okey Ezea, has passed away at the age of 62 after an undisclosed illness.
He was the senator representing Enugu North senatorial District in Enugu State. Ezea was the only remaining Labour Party member in the National Assembly from Enugu State.
Ezeah passed on Tuesday in the United Kingdom while receiving treatment, according to reports.
A popular on-air media personality, ‘Senator’ Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, confirmed the tragic development on his Facebook page.
He wrote: “Sad News. Senator Okey Ezea, representing Enugu North, is dead… Rest in Peace.”
It was also reported that Ezea had been previously treated in Germany.
