Cristiano Ronaldo, a forward for Manchester United, has thanked the team’s fans for their encouragement at home after Erik ten Hag’s team’s 2-1 Premier League victory over Liverpool on Monday night.
Ronaldo also praised the performance of his Manchester United teammates in their victory over Liverpool at Old Trafford.
Thanks to goals from Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford, Man United defeated Liverpool.
Mohamed Salah did score for Jurgen Klopp’s side against the Red Devils.
Speaking after the game, Ronaldo, who did not start the match, wrote on his Instagram account: “Well done @manchesterunited. Thank you for your support, Old Trafford.”
Ronaldo will now hope to start when Man United face Southampton in their next game on Saturday.
