Senator Godswill Akpabio, President of the Senate, paid a Sallah visit to his predecessor, Senator Ahmed Lawan, at his residence in Abuja on Friday.
The purpose of the visit was to celebrate Eid al-Adha with the former number three citizen and to participate in meaningful discussions about the Senate’s development and commitment to delivering democratic dividends to Nigerians.
The visit, held in a warm atmosphere, also had a prayer session, before the private conversations aimed at revitalizing Nigeria’s democracy.
Senator Akpabio assured Lawan that his administration would be inclusive, regardless of party affiliations, ethnicity, or religion.
