  • Minister Dave Umahi believes that President Tinubu and VP Shettima are divinely ordained to reset Nigeria, urging support for their leadership
  • Umahi criticized the PDP’s response to the Supreme Court verdict and emphasized the importance of unity and the greater good

Minister of Works, Engr. Dave Umahi, has expressed his belief that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima have been divinely ordained to reset Nigeria. He made these comments while inspecting bridges in Lagos State.

Umahi criticized the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for its criticism of the Supreme Court verdict affirming the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the February Presidential election. He found it “unethical and unprofessional” for the PDP to praise the judiciary when its judgment favored the party and then criticize it when it did not.

The minister also congratulated himself for leaving the PDP when he believed it was “about to sink.” He stated that the entire South-East region remains in full support of the APC, despite the Labour Party’s (LP) efforts in the last election. Umahi encouraged the South-East to continue supporting the President and put aside rumors and divisions.

Umahi highlighted the importance of putting the country first and supporting President Tinubu and Vice-President Shettima in their efforts to reset Nigeria in various sectors of development. He acknowledged their role as divine gifts to the country and stressed the need for patriotic and unwavering support.
