The highways that lead to Okene, the hometown of Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, have reportedly been overrun by Nigerian Army soldiers.

Moments before the state’s gubernatorial election is scheduled to begin, an activity takes place.

After spotting three “strange” black security vehicles, the soldiers on election duty stopped and took them into custody.

The arrest was done by soldiers who mounted a barricade at Itakpe Junction shortly before Okene main town.
