Emerging reports have disclosed that remains of Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru and 10 other military officers that lost their lives on Friday’s plane crash have arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport Abuja.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the NAF C-130 touched down around 10: 50 am.
It was also learnt that newsmen were not allowed to take photographs as the bodies were lifted into ambulances.
WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that the Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru, has died in a plane crash with some of his aides.
Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, Nigerian Air Force Director of Information confirmed the mishap in a statement.
