The deputy governor of Anambra state, Nkem Okeke has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) after dumping the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that Nkem Okeke defected to the ruling party at the presidential villa, Abuja, on Wednesday.

The deputy governor, Okeke was presented to President Muhammadu Buhari by Governor of Yobe state, Mai Mala Buni and Hope Uzodinma, the Imo state governor.

This development is coming less than a month to the November 6 governorship election in Anambra.
