Nobody wants to deal with fake friends, their troubles are just too stressful and energy draining for us all.
Legendary Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, also known as 2Baba, has released brand new heartfelt music titled ‘Frenemies’ featuring admired songstress, Waje. ‘Frenemies’ was released in audio and video directed by Lucky Doors, which comes in a VHS form.
Speaking about the song, 2Baba said the song was created from his innermost part that he doesn’t reveal often. “Dis song came from a place in my soul that I don’t open too often,” he shared.
The old school video gives viewers insight into 2Baba’s journey and how he’s being surrounded by fake friends as he makes his way to meet Waje. Both acts beg God for bazooka to kill all their fake friends.
The collaboration of 2Baba and Waje on the reggae-laced tune is sweet, flowing and scintillating, but not as impressive as we expected.
They both displayed talents and dexterities, however, their duet is still below average for us. Watch the video below;
