Photos: How INEC officials cross rivers to register voters in Taraba

Nigeria’s elctoral body (INEC) shared photos showing the struggles of its registration officers on twitter.

Posted on the verified Twitter handle of INEC Nigeria @inecnigeria, the photographs show persons said to be INEC staff members virtually naked and wading in deep waters of Kurmi Local Government Area of Taraba State in search of voters that have yet to register.

INEC wrorte;

”The Registration Officers of Kurmi Local Government Area crossing a river to enable them get into the hinterland for the last lap of the Continuous Voters Registration in Taraba State.
