The called was made Thursday in Abuja at the unveiling of a book  “The School Guide”.

In his remarks, Guest speaker at the occasion Tope Togun said education remains the most powerful tool that can be used to change the world.

“The foundation of every single idea is education. If the people who conceptualized Apple, Uber and other ingenious ideas were not educated, they would not have been able to create these transformative technologies.”

In her remarks, author of the book Angela Ajala who is a graduate of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria stressed the need for the digitisation of education and the right curriculum to be introduced in schools for the reflective learning of the students.

She said: “Curriculum is something that is constantly reviewed based on the emerging markets and trends of the society. The curriculum must address the need of the market.

“Digitisation is easy to do  but must be taken one after another.  It is in phases and there is no way any school can run away from it because it is the future”

She noted that most children are already digitised and called on policy makers to put measures in place for control in other to draw value from it.

“The School Guide” aims at creating a partnership between parents and teachers on how to inculcate the right educational values on children and provides insights on how to run a great school.
