He said he enjoyed making love to underage boys because they would not become pregnant. Mohammed was nabbed after the father of his last victim, Yusuf Buhari, reported him to the police.
Mohammed, who confessed to the crime, said he had been having sex with boys for long before he was caught.
He said he lured his victims with sweets, soft drinks and biscuits.
Speaking to reporters, Mohammed said he resorted to sodomy because no girl was willing to have sex with him.

Police spokesman Muhammad Abubakar said the suspect was arrested following a tip-off, adding that he was caught in the act. He described the incident as shameful and dehumanising.
