An average Nigerian doesn’t joke with the word of God or their place of worship and this can sometimes lead to embarrassing moments in the hands of such overzealous individuals.
Most places of worships have their dress code as they expect members to appear decent. However, some people might be unaware of these rules and wear things that might be frowned at on religious grounds.
A Nigerian lady, identified as Funmi (@Funmi_coco) on Twitter, took to the social networking site to narrate her very embarrassing experience after she was sent back home from a church.
According to her, a friend invited her for a church wedding, and she made sure to sew a nice top with the ankara material chosen for the event. However, she paired the top with a trouser and it didn’t go down well with church officials who proceeded to send her back home.
She revealed that she felt quite disturbed after the encounter and that if she wasn’t already a christian, the church would have no luck in converting her.

The lady, who is identified as Mbanefo Nkiru Angel, on Sunday, April 8, 2018, took to her Facebook profile to reveal how she finally decided to go to church after a long time but was sent home for not dressing properly.
